I Visited the Mothership

Or why do I feel so much at home here?

What better way to prepare for WWDC2006 than a quick trip to the Mothership? Wander around the Apple Company Store in the knowledge that at the Apple Campus Bash next Thursday there’ll be a two-hour line just to get in. Wander across to Caffe Macs. See Steve. Have lunch with RD2C. See Steve again. Try to decide whether or not to go up and say “Hi!”. Wander back across the campus. Get followed by Steve, who is obviously deciding whether or not to come up and say “Hi!”
