Get your duvets ready now: the Apple Store Glasgow is scheduled to open in July 2007! It'll occupy the building which is currently home to The Pier on Buchanan Street.
By a strange and meaningless coincidence, I used to work at the Apple Centre Glasgow, when it was in the SECC — which was a shockingly long time ago.

apple store in Glasgow huh? :) Cooool... about time hehe. Mind you, living over here, i've been overloaded with apple stores... they are so tempting, I just haaaaad to buy myself a macbook pro ;) So hows biz?

Is the opening likely to be late August 2007? If so, I will wait and buy my speakers then. Any official announcements from Apple ??

Well, July came and went, and the AppleStore still hasn't opened in Glasgow. I've no idea what the opening date is - will try and find out!
