mogenerator v1.2
Or now even easier than before…
There’s a new version of mogenerator v1.2, and one of the biggest improvements, other than a number of fixes and tweaks, is that there is a binary installer, so that all the tedious steps of downloading and building simply vanish. So too does my planned book deal and worldwide conference tour entitled “How to download and build mogenerator” based on my instructions to download and build mogenerator but I’m actually okay with that since it is actually more fun — and a lot more productive — to actually use mogenerator than to talk about building it.
Installing mogenerator v1.2
Let’s just say that if you have trouble with the new Installer for mogenerator_v1.2, you might find working with Core Data a bit too challenging…
Using mogenerator
Using mogenerator is pretty much as it was before: one thing to note is that mogenerator v1.2 will now install the template files by default in /Library/Application Support/mogenerator/ but will still look for template files in the previous location ~/Library/Application Support/mogenerator/. Other than that, most of the information I wrote about actually using mogenerator should hopefully still work.
