WWDC07 Hidden Meaning
Or what the top-secret stuff is all about…
Remember my post about the real decline of WWDC06? Well, WWDC07 is approaching faster than, well, a leopard, so I thought it would be about time to see what’s really going on in WWDC07. Literally.

With WWDC07 the ‘20’ has been dropped from the logo a lot more consistently than the WWDC2006 / WWDC06 event, which suggests that there’s more to it than simply saving some threads on the embroidered logos for the bags. Which led me to think that perhaps this is an indication that Apple are hiding subliminal messages in the WWDC07 logo, in much the same way that the FedEx logo hides an arrow in the negative spaces of the ‘E’ and ‘x’?

When you realize that the negative space between the ‘C’ and ‘0’ is the same shape as the Windows Person icon on their side everything becomes a lot clearer — the dropping of the ‘20’ mid-way through WWDC2006 / WWDC06 was the subtle clue that something big was starting, and now it is so obvious: people, particularly Windows users, should prepare to be blown away by what’s coming in Leopard.
